Today, thanks to the suggestion of 
, I started to do a reimagining of Little Red Riding Hood. What was originally going to be a fantasy, crazy fashion kind of thing turned into a more serious story. Because of the story that I got I wanted to try and put some actual emotional depth into my drawing, into the characters. Although she is just standing there and probably looks no different to my other drawings, I personally feel that I suceeded with that and that she does have a sadness and vulnerability to her and I really hope that comes across. In my version her name's Scarlett and she's an angsty little 15 year old. Instead of skipping through the woods and dropping off cakes to her much loved grandmother, every Saturday while on her weekend visit to the city she drops off her grandmas medication. You could say they have a somewhat strained relationship and don't really see eye to eye, so the visits are never that long nor do they involved tea and biscuits.
